I dualboot Ubuntu and Windows XP but I mostly use Ubuntu to fuck around. Mostly hacking Wifi routers and such. I have tried to run Windows games on Ubuntu but it's a real fail, low framerate and the graphics aren't as good as on Windows XP. Windows XP is my most used OS and it will stay like this cause it's way better and the software support too.

My main comp has windows xp 64bit, its a gaming pc. 64bit for the extra 2 gigs of ram that i want it to use. Windows fan all the way. I have a secondary server that uses redhat, it works, can't complain. My job has a Leopord server with raid. I can say that the Leopord has alot of neat stuff in it that make it kick ass. But still a windows man at home.

I use XP on my desktop, and Vista on my laptop.
I like it because I'm familiar with it and can usually fix a problem on my own within less than 30 minutes. It's flawed as hell but I don't like the restrictions on Mac/dealign with learning it/bothering to emulate windows. Linux is the best, but it has the learning curve. Which isn't a big deal. I've even though of putting it on my PS3, but that's irriversible and voids the warranty. Once I learned how to use it though I'm sure I'd love it. I really like being able to get into and fix a problem like that. Which is another reason I'm prone against Mac. It's too... dumbed down, or puts off that vibe. Vista has a bad rep but I really really do like all the features it brought. Like the search bar on the start menu for any file/program on the computer. Windows areo very convenient too. Tyrien.DeviantArt~ As of 08/11/2008 5:33 PM Eastern Standard time I now officially own: Miyavi, Kyo, Yuusuke, Maya, Gou, Aki, Aoi, Jun, Yusa, Jui, Key, Heechul, Yesung, Riku, Kei, Jyou, Satoshi, Takeru, Sin, Teddyloid, ♀Yooh♂, Reo, Tomoya, Tatsuro, Hitsugi, Kyoharu, Takanori Nishikawa, Jay Chou, Hirokai, Die, Kaoru, Shinya, and Toshiya. |

I use and prefer Windows XP Pro... but in the best interest of the career I'd like to go into, I need to learn Unix/Linux. I'm going to spend "summer break" reading and trying things out within Linux. Yeah, there's a huuuuuge learning curve to Linux if you're a Windows/Mac user.
