Bad mouthing an old man for having a history that is the standard views of most American men his age would technically be bad mouthing Americas whole history from that era. The important thing is his has changed with the times to accomadate each generation in the needs they have as individuals, when you look at it lijke that I think you will see more clearly. Many young people can not reflect on age.
It is very true that there was a time in his 26 years in Congress that John McCain was a maverick. That time has passed. No one has bad-mouthed McCain for having a history, but it does worry me to hire a 72-year-old man that doesn't know how to read email to the most important job in our country.

Your phrasing isn't really clear, but I think you are saying, how can people back Obama when he says he isn't completely behind this U.S. Correct?

Why would you think Obama isn't completely behind the US? The right-wing machine has really tried to push the notion that Barack and Michelle Obama are anti-American. A strategy only incredibly simple-minded people would fall for. Why would anti-American run for President, and how would he be the leading candidate. That's insanity. Of course Barack is a proud American.

McCain clearly has no back up if he slips, let us hope he never needs it. I would still vote McCain simply because I pray for global destruction, however...
I don't know what choosing an obviously well-liked and well-known and experienced VP could be a bad idea. I am no expert, but assumed it would be Biden for months. He is an obviously good choice.

Hard to say the same about Palin.

You pray for global destruction? You are full of shit. First you tell people that you and your wife go and give charity and help people out and shit, then you tell us how the world has too many poor who can't be helped so there's no point?
Grow some balls and stick to one f*cking story.

The problem is that McCain has had some worthy ideas, and has stood up to his own party and been right to do so -- and has now gone back on many of those important principles. Bring back the John McCain who opposes torture.

So we should elect presidents based on how f-able they are? Thank you, Tenchu, for bringing this discussion to the lowest level possible.

Governing a state must instill quite a lot of experience, it is not a small job. She may not be ready for a country, yet she is only vice president. Anyway, if you were an old man like McCain, would you not want a VPILF around you???

I can see where this is heading, another Clinton style affair... Or is that how she got the nomination in the first place?

Anyway, only a fool holds high his attitude and sticks to one story. Life is full of many events, fixed attitude is completely defensive in any strategy, and absolutionism is arrogance in the vast expanse of the universe.

I speak more coherantly on these subjects than anyone else here, I think I earned the right to fine tune.
Ok so when someone calls you arrogant, you won't be able to use that story again.
Also, how does a woman with a baby make $100 a day.
