I'm lapping up a lot of Apocalyptica at the moment, the cello just adds eerieness, and I'm lovin Hanzel und Gretyl and Rammstein <33
the German language is just scary! =D

My brother recently introduced me to this American metal band called Arsis. Simply put, it rocks my socks. The best album is We Are the Nightmare, and the riffs are completely badass and that's an understatement. I was surprised to hear that they originated in the U.S., being as most American metal/death metal bands are notoriously awful in my opinion.
I'd recommend Arsis to someone who didn't like metal just to see if it would change their mind, hahaha.

Oh, if any of you like Finnish metal, try Ensiferum. It looks like you like Amon Amarth, joey, so Ensiferum should be right down your alley. Maybe try Turisas too.

Amon Amarth is Viking metal or death metal, yeah. I'll take a look at those two also.
