Sure, japanese society is really cruel with those who fail, but in this case its not the only one to be blamed. It's just an act of a 25yo young man with some kind of mental illness. |

Lets all blame those evil video games!!
No but really, with so many persons in such a limited space, a few loons are bound to be out there. Games or not. How many murders are there yearly in e.g. New York? By "cool non-nerdy" guys? I just love it when media starts the whole "omgnerdloserblametheviolentgames" thing. The person, and not entertainment companies, is responsible for his actions. That said, this is pretty f*n awful though. Really hard to prevent these things too. I think it's sad to see a 25-yrold that feels as he hasn't "made it by now, it's over." Most people don't know much about life, what they wanna be, let alone found someone they wanna spend their life with at 25 ('tleast outside Japan). |

Quite frankly i think its hilarious, quote from the murderers mind "What am i gunna do today...Oh i know i crash a truck into a heap of people and if i dont kill enough i'll go on a mad stabbing spree to see how many points i can get before the police catch me" Ah what a hero....
