I didn't get picked on TOO MUCH in High School about it, but I did put up with a lot of bull. There were a choice few who would almost daily look at me while I was listening to my iPod and say "CHING CHONG CHONG NONG FONG". I got real tired of it, real fast. I'm a big guy. 6'10". People know better than to mess with me. One day, I shouted at the top of my lungs "ERIC, SHUT THE **** UP!". (The one who did this.) From there on, nobody said that anymore. The teachers are also too scared to do anything when I'm angry because none of them would be able to do anything about it.
Also, in computer class (HA! I wouldn't exactly call it a computer class. Woman didn't know a damn thing about computers. She just had us do mediocre photoshop assignments every day and type things up.) Anyway, in "computer class", there were several kids who called me out on my music constantly. I would occasionally put hiragana or katakana in some of my photoshops and the teacher would consider it a failed assignment because I didn't follow her %@#! guidelines. I don't see what everyone's problem with asians is, but quite frankly, I'm done taking crap about it. I'm starting college in the Fall (graduated in January because I only had to do half my senior year) and I will certainly not tolerate any more of what happened in High School. They can either like my music or %@#! off. これが読みません。

Different people make the world interesting, however there are always a certain few who dont understand this and decide to pick out difference as an example of inferiority or such. Usually it is best to ignore these people beacuase that is ultimately what they are most afraid of - NOT BEING NOTICED - it makes them feel as small as they actually are, and they hate that !
However if anybody tries to Physically bully you, then dont waste time at all -smash the shit out of that person as soon as possible and go all out - plus make sure that it is done very publicly as to assure all those who would wish to take that persons place that they really dont want to. Believe me - no at all messes with me - you know why ? - because they know the minute i catch them with no witnesses around - brain damage is gonna happen.

Nope, I wasn't/am not.
Then again, I'm not a Japanophile. I only read a few manga, watch some anime and enjoy a bit of the culture. I don't talk about how I can't wait to become Hokage when I move to Japan.....

Oh, hell yes.
My older brother likes to call me 'Japanoob', lolz. I don't really care, though. I like what I like and I'm not about to change that just to please other people. I get the idiots at school, who mock me for it by making references to what they think is the Japanese culture, when more often than not, it is China they are referring to.

i totally know how you feel.
people always ask me why do you like japanese you can't even speak the language and im like theres nothing wrong with likeing jaan or japanese things jeez haters
