sorry if this is in the wrong department. but does anybody on here ever get picked on at school, work, etc.? i get picked on alot at school for liking japan.

Yeah, due to the massive ammounts of immature kids at my school.
Usually after school though, cause' that's when I call my gf, and I have to use meh nihongo. And people give me strange looks. But other than that, I try and keep it on the DL.  猿も木から落ちる

people laugh at me for a second, then after a awkward second they say they want to live in japan also. lol. most of my friends has been to tokyo and love it there so they understand where i am coming from.

my teacher used to make racist comments about it, he made our class watch "flags of our fathers" for no apparent reason, besides my friend and i being his most hated students, he would constantly make rude comments about it, things that should have gotten him fired but the whole school system is corrupted
