Sliger is an Anglicized form of Schleiger which is German and a metonymic occupational name for a maker or seller of scarves and veils, from Middle Low German sleiger, sleier ‘(head)scarf’.

According to my google-fu anyway.

Mine means 'Lady', my middle name means 'vow of god' and my surname means 'seller of pots and pans'. So... I'm a lady bound by my vow to god to try and flog you some saucepans?

My name is a mix between "Corinne" and "Karen."

Corinne: French for "maiden"
Karen: Danish for "pure"

Yeah... no...

My name is a Sino-Korean word for big* summer-ish sky.

*with a emotion-related connotation since there are over 10 similar means of "big" in Classical Chinese

It is a very masculine meaning with an agricultural tendency.

My first and middle names are of Hebrew origin and mean "princess" and "God is gracious," respectively.

My last name, or surname, is of Old English origin and means "long hill."

First name means Rock
Middle means love
Last name means To be free.

So basically I'm a rock that loves to be free...or avalanche for short. Sometimes I wonder if parents actually name us like this on purpose.
