Japanese Disco Light - 03-16-2009, 03:10 PM

Hello everyone!

Wondering if you could possibly help me with something.

My story is this: A friend of mine (I live in Thailand) has a disco light, which he bought in Japan when he worked there before. This light, I managed to disguise itself naturally break. The lights on his extremely old disco lights must be replaced and the lights are not to acquire in Thailand because it is different volt system. Now it is so I think he trying to screw me hard and as I do not have anyone watching any of the prices of electronics in Japan, it is a little difficult for me to confront him.

Disco Light has 8 lamps and he claims that each bulb costs 250 Euro / each. For me I see no chance that these lights would cost so much, and because it is kind old motorcycle light or something so I can not check this. I tried calling the company but because I can not speak Japanese and they could not speak English so it was this difficult. The company called Koito and lamp units D4515S it is 6 Volt and 30 W, 27 A.

My question now is whether anyone has the opportunity to somehow check if there is a chance that this light will cost 250 Euro, if you may know someone's website or may be able to turn into any shop or something similar, maybe a motorcycle or car repairer . I attach pictures to anyone who can help me via email. I know this is an extremely great thing to do and I understand really unless you have the time or inclination. I would be eternally grateful if someone could in some way help me so I will not be completely burned.

sorry guys google translation

Thank you so much in advanced!

Thank for your help, i already called them and they said that they dont sell lights to private persons only manufacturing companys and then they hunged up the phone, really rude.

do you live in Japan, if you do is there any possibility that you coukd walk in to a hardwarestore/warehouse and check if they have it if i send you some pics? Only if you have time of course... Would really appreciate it.
