There will be no limited strike to the missile and nuke program... when it will automatically lead to a full-fledge war way worse than one's imagination if the NK's programs are damaged.

Appeasement of the NK regime usually results in NK breaking any promises it makes. Certainly the circumstances are completely different...the North Korean regime is probably less concerned with expansionist goals and more concerned with ensuring it's survival....but I don't want to be accused of being alarmist when I draw parallels with Nazi appeasement. If NK has already shown a willingness to disregard the international community and go back on agreements made in good faith, then I'm wondering how this could end without violence. Of course the only other option would be to continue to contain the North Koreans indefinitely. |

I prefer for this to be another one of those things I can look back at and giggle about in the back of my mind... But, with that said, how long will this situation with North Korea last? Will this behavior always indicate nothing more than a habitual "muscle flexing"? By the way, if that sounded condescending, please understand that wasn't my intention... Quote:

I'd hardly call it a full-fledged war. While the initial loss of civilian life as a result of North Korean retaliation would be great. The war would be over in weeks. US/Japanese/South Korean military equipment is far more sophisticated than the Chinese/Russian crap the North Koreans use. Most of the North Korean air-force and command and control will be destroyed in one day. |

If you do, you're just a miserable human being, sorry to say. |

Read my post:
"There will be no limited strike to the missile and nuke program... when it will automatically lead to a full-fledge war way worse than one's imagination if the NK's programs are damaged." There are some people here who support a limited strike like Ronin4hire... but it is a grave mistake to think like that. Of course, any people who support this is automatically supporting a war unintentionally. |
