Looking for a semi-cute semi-dignified puppy name. - 04-13-2009, 03:10 AM

Yea wow a post.

I'm trying to help a friend of mine decide on a name for her new puppy. She's getting a pure white male Pomeranian soon and it looking for a name that's sorta cute but not too cute or cliche like fluffy or snowball.

Actually came here because I was looking for either a simple word translated into japanese, or just something that sounds nice but not too crazy or hard to pronounce.

Thanks.

Aww the only two I can think of would be Yuki (). It means snow in Japanese. Or Shiro () It means white in Japanese. Are these too cliche/not cute enough? :C

I'll run those by her. Don't think she'd like the sound of Yuki very much sounds far to feminine for a male puppy. She might like Shiro though.

Appreciated but sounds hard to pronounce for the way it's spelled. What does it mean?

First amusing suggestion: Buzzsaw.

More apt suggestion: Kaile. (probably doesn't mean anything, just sounds interesting.)

Ai? It's simple and cute, I believe it translates into love or something like that.

I got one, why not call him Hentai. Yes, I can already hear it "Come here Hentai, come here boy". Yup, this name is a sure winner.
