What do you guys expect to see in a girl's handbag?

I usually just have...

- Eyeliner and mascara
- My purse
- MP3 Player and Phone, if my outfit doesn't have pockets
- Umbrella
- My keys

What part of the world do you stay where it is sure to rain at any time of the year?
If you stay in Ireland where it rains about 1/3 of the year,I'd not be surprised.

Haha, I live in Scotland and the weather is pretty unpredictable here, so just in case I take an umbrella with me everywhere.

I don't own a purse or a handbag, they're just in the way really. But I use them messenger bags or what they're called.

And since I've got quite a short attention span, I need things like my DS and a book to keep me occupied when bored. :P
Other than that I have the usual wallet, cellphone, toothbrush (go figure :P) and some sanitary things.
No makeup though.
