I think it's being blown out of proportion. As long as you wash your hands or use hand sanitizer, you should be good. I mean it's not like you'll die instantaneously if you come in contact with someone who has it. Just get tested if you think you do. Really simple.

It's no more deadly then the other flu viruses. If you don't have complications with the run of the mill ones then you'll be fine. They just got caught off guard with no vaccine for it and crapped their proverbial pants.
@MMM, apparently you didn't pick up on the sarcasm in my last post, tis but a joke i assure you @ Ronin4hire, I'm pretty sure that is irrelevant and would cross into religion territory, see discussion rule 2.4, but to answer your question, I don't know if it's been around for 6k or not but regardless I do believe that God created it at some point, and yes I am aware this is the same Being that allowed the Holocaust and so on and so forth, not to belittle those horrendous events in any shape or form |

I myself, am a Christian. And all of you deserve a Jesuspalm because this thread is about the Swine Flue, and somehow people start talking about religion?
Back on Topic I tend to agree with the "it's just being dramatically drawn out in the news" It's not that big of deal. There has only been 1 death........ get over it peoples. The korean missle crap is scaring me more than some little sickness. 猿も木から落ちる

Doctors always get worried when some virus mutates. They usually aren't sure how bad it will turn out, so they usually try to start off with the worst possibilities and let the topic die down on it's own if the virus doesn't do as much damage as they thought. Better to be safe than sorry
