I would blame majority of news sources because they tend to over-hype these types of things...and of course, many people are also guilty of believing everything they hear without looking into it first. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the rename of the flu was part due to the fact that it isn't Swine Flu (from pigs). |

What makes news stations money? Viewers. What keeps viewers attention? Scary stories. Basically.... it's like this: If you go to Mexico and eat raw pigs, then you probably will get swine flu. It's not some world wide chaotic new rapidly spreading disease that kills everyone. I'm literally more scared of that spider I just killed in my bathroom. 猿も木から落ちる
