I like a diamond as one.. I personally don't like them in a ring.

You know.. A "rock" box type of set up.

My son has his beach box with shells and pieces of coral, A rock box could include diamonds..

By the way, have you seen an Opal?

Opals are very nice, I especially like the before better though. The more natural appearnce is much more beautiful(Although Im sure costly) Like Quartz crystals.
I have a question though, to the OP.
Is your gf wanting you to buy her one or are you just warning all other bfs? Just curious really. Don't mean to offend.

Opals are awesome..

Look at the colours and they can be had for free here.

A pick is all that's needed.

If you read the OP (original post), you will see it is warning a partner not to buy his or her lady diaomonds, but by the same token, what would happen if you did.

So I'm guessing because it's actually targetting men more than women, that it is telling men that it is a waste of money and time.

Although buy the diamond, and your sweetheart will love you forever.

I guess in hinsight that's a load of rubbish and will varie accordingly.

I don't see the problem with a guy buying a girl nice things like that. It's really sweet especially if it's a strain in his wallet. I mean a guy who is willing to not buy tickets to that big game or purchase that new car just to get me something to wear around my neck, is usually really sweet. I probably wouldn't take something like that on the first date and it defiantly wouldn't win my heart, but if we'd been dating awhile it'd defiantly give him brownie points.

To me, a magnificently cut diamond is an artwork, not a nice way to bring relationships closer.

Different thinking, different attitude.
