Ahhh alright I understand what scene kids are now.

It is better for them to snap out of it as soon as possible. I would encourage living there only if you've been there a few times and loved it hehe.

As for me, I don't know, maybe I'll go live in Turkey or just stay here. We'll see.

Why do you think those "kids" need that kind of escape?

I think at times we all need escapes. I doubt anyone can say that there was never a time when they wished they were somewhere else, or doing something else. Escapes are a manifestation of the hopes we hold for the future.
I think JF is a place where people can come to find information about achieving their hopes in the future and meeting people who share the same attitudes and interests.

I agree with you. I'm not saying that they shouldn't. I was just curious WHY? Hehe.

What is that emo-vampire site you were talking about?

I think the saying "The grass is never greener on the other side" applies here. Many people are bored of where they live, and want to see something different.

Thanks for the website.
Ciao is Italian for hello, hehe. I know quite a few people who are interested in Japan, including me. So I came to the forum to enrich my knowledge about Japan and others who are interested.

I've noticed there are a lot of "emo's" on this forum. With that I mean that I'm getting the feeling that there are a lot of "over-emotional" people active and that they are holding on to the idea of Japan, as if it is some sort of escape plan or something. As if a majority of them has troubles with their self-esteem? I was wondering how other people see this?

I do not mean to insult anyone. I was just wondering what others think about this.
I don't agree with you.

I am seeing a large majority that are into Fashion and Japanese fashion at that.

It doesn't do anything for me..

I'm here because my memories in Japan were fantastic and will stay forever.

I would love to see some more Japanese people here but I guess Japanese forums in Japanese would attract more..

Anyway, I could just see myself sitting by a small Kyoto river where I used to live with a nice glass of warm local Sake with Sashimi

Cheers - Oz
