Watched Inglorious Basterds, everyone told me it was great. I thought it wasn't good, but not really bad either.

Saw "Ninja Assassin" on opening night with all of about 20 others. It was so exciting it took over a month for me to remember to post it here.

Actually it was nice eye candy with Rain in every scene looking really good. The female lead wasn't bad either.

The plot, with a better treatment, had potential. But thanks to some of the worst directors ever, exceeded in ineptitude only by the lame special effects, the movie was your classic grade "B" Kung-Fu crap. And either the art director or continuity person really fouled up one of the final scenes badly.

Unless paid to attend, I seriously doubt I will ever see another film produced by the Wachowski Bros...... even if in the mood to ogle a good looking lead.

On a better note ----- "Pirate Radio" was a wonderful nostalgic indulgence over Thanksgiving. And if you are not old enough to have lived through this era you will probably still enjoy it. The house was packed with an audience ranging from pre-teens to us oldsters and everyone was enjoying the music and laughing, giggling, or cheering at something in almost every scene.

From the sky, To the ground
Rain is falling all around
Thunder rain and wind
A song of storms begins

Play a song, A melody
Then everybody will see
The hero of time
Has come
