I do realise its fiction, and my point is here, is that some of you fangirls take it waaay out of proportion.

1. slightly agrees with the glitter part (wtf is up wit that?) & yes I think other fans do blow it waaay out of proportion. BUT Like you've said b4 y go into a thread if you don't really like the topic!!?? I do believe everyone has an opinion but there's just common sense in LIKE & DISLIKE....LIKE it go into it.....DISLIKE it don't go into it.

As you can read I haven't written anything *GAGA eyed* about Edward or any of the other characters. I'm jus really drawn to it because of the whole vampire effect!! & having a good soundtrack doesn't hurt it either.

I didn't say i disliked it, I still read the book, it was enjoyable. But it's not as great as it is made out to be. Yes, I enjoy a little romance here and there, but when the author fucking drags it out....I lose respect in it. You don't see Pride and Prejudice drag out for 4 books even though its the best romance in the world, do you?

Yes, meyer picked out the vampire genre that is so popular, but it doesn't mean that the plot itself was not poorly executed. For something so hyped, i expected a bit more.

I thought i'd give an intellectual input about the book in a different perspective. I'm sure thats allowed. Cuz all i did was talk about the book. XD

I don't think you understand the concept of a "discussion board". A discussion consists of two different points of view on a subject.

The reason why people go into a thread they do not like the sound of, is because they have the urge to show their views. That is what a discussion board is about. That is what a forum is about. Discussing.

What's the point in discussing, or arguing somethign if both sides like it?

Did you see his interview regarding twilight and how he think's its ridiculous about how hyped he is. I have a alot of respect for a man that doesn't feel the need to desperately endorse the film he is in.

He's ok. Better than some not as great as others, but a movie is a movie and the characters are characters so...I'm not complaining anymore.
