One thing that pisses me off; when the Romans caught Hannibal he killed himself as they approached with poison. He had a scribe with him who had recorded his details. The Romans burned it, so only their version of history is available. What a shame.

Salah Eldin, who succeeded in ruling and unifying the Arab kingships at his time in both the Egypt and the Lavent (Syria, Lebanon, Jordan and Palestine) for more than 20 years.
The Sultan comes from a great and deep rooted Arab Kurds family as he was born in the citadel of Tikrit (in Iraq)in the year 1110 and died at the age of 58 years in 1168 in Damascus.. |

Interesting choice, Kozyra. I think you need a new Salah Eldin now as Syria is being swayed too much. I lived with a Syrian for a month, very nice guy.
My hero? Wow, too many influences. I'm gonna keep it simple and say Zidane. Just watching him with the ball at his feet was sth to marvel at. An absolute wizard! |
