If we are going by the definition that our soul is our emotions, then I am not sure I would give my soul up for much. I would not see much point in living without emotions. Thus, if I were to give up my soul, it would probably be for an altruistic cause such as saving another's life.

selling my soul? in addition to being very scary, i don't think i would gain anything. for example, if i sell my soul in order to become a king, i will only suffer. If you don't have a soul you can't feel anything; if you feel nothing you can't enjoy yourself. if you don't enjoy yourself, gaining anything seems futile, because you don't have the feelings that you would need in order to want the things that you gained. you just lost yourself. (

that kind of person is pitiful. I prefer to have my soul)

But think about it for a sec. If you want something that you know you can't ever have, what would you do? When you can sell your soul to get it, why would fight against that option?

Even if I did get what I wanted I would just be some empty shell and it wouldn't even matter to me anymore, my soul is more important that some desire.
