if i were to actually GAIN a desire, however, .... hmm....
i'd prolly sell for one of two things....
1..... a klondike bar x]

or

2... to be the physically most beautiful person ever + immortality =3

for.... life is truly meaningless unless i can be beautiful (idk why i feel that way honestly xD)
and.... immortality so i can pursue my desires limitlessly =3

oh and call me shallow if you want =P

Without a doubt, I'd choose the ability to control time.
which means I'd be able to go back, forward, pause, slow down, and speed up.

I personally think this would be the greatest kinda... super power that one could have.

but even if this was physically possible I would probably find out a bunch of crappy things. like... not being able to go back in time before I'm born. or... not being able to change things in the past because I'd screw up the future.... etc...

I still think the ability to slow down time would be worth it though. I could dodge bullets, just think of the possibilities lol.

If as OP said , Soul= emotions , then actually selling your soul would mean you wouldn't be able to enjoy what ever you'd get from selling it

You say that, but in todays world, it can still be pretty tough to get just the plain truth unless you are actually involved in the event which gets to the news or even history books. I don't think immortality would help much with what you want... Maybe you could explain how you would achieve your goal?

As for me, I wouldn't sell my soul! Not if it was in the religious sense or the way you described a soul. Thinks like immortality sounds nice, but for me, the more I think about it, the more depressing it becomes. lol.

There is nothing I would wish for to be honest. Money, no! Fame, no! Being overly intellegent, no... and the list goes on!

That way, if someone frees a ginny out of the bottle, and the ginny grants him a wish, he'd just wish to have as much wishes as he wishes.. Doesn't work like that

Also, if you lost all emotions then you couldn't even enjoy what you had swapped your soul for.
