Here's a pic of me taken in late June. Unfortunately, my rock climbing encountered a speed bump 2 weeks after this pic was taken as I broke both arms in a nasty fall. However, I'm on the mend and should be fully healed for the ice climbing season. |

If that wasn't so high off the ground, that would look so amazing.
Ice climbing? *shivers* Stuff is insane man. HaHa I wish I was brave enough to do that. |

That's amazing! How long have you been climbing for?

Thanks for the input guys!
I've been climbing on and off for the last 10yrs. Rock climbing is great but it just keeps me in shape for the ice climbing. Ice climbing hasn't really taken off in Japan so one of my goals is to move to Hokkaido and pioneer some new routes/areas. One of these days, I'll quit my job, head out to Japan and become a bum for a few years. |

I eventually moved to my current town where we have rock walls 400m high just 15 min away. An incredible town where everyone is incredibly fit, knows how to rock climb and enjoys the outdoors. A small town where there's no movie theater, Walmart, Home Depot but miles and miles of running and riding trails. A place where it's not uncommon to bump into a black bear, deer, moose, cougar, etc. during your early morning run. I'll post pictures of my town when I get a chance. |
