Exactly, there is a 3.5 hr documentary (yes, I know, Sunday viewing) on Google about the nature of the Fed and how it impacts on America. The Fed are not democratically elected of course and are private, not public. They make counterfeiters look like angels

I just can't accept the Hiroshima bomb, as apparent as the logic appears to some. When I returned to Aberdeen, Scotland, I joined the local library again and read a report on the radiation studies conducted in Hiroshima. Well, it was a book actually. The exposure is higher than most might think. Here in Gliwice, Poland, I used to get subjected to air pollution in a big way on one particular street and no atomic bomb dropped here. People with environmental awareness will see that it has a cumulative effect with prolonged exposure.

Sorry, America had to stop Pearl Harbour but the shadow govt just loves war, now don't they?

Same here... it's amazing to me that someone believes Pearl Harbor was attacked by criminals or terrorists, and that we could have secretly entered Japan to look for them and arrest or kill them. Japan declared war on us, it wasn't just a few criminals that attacked us.

Well believe it or not i have actually heard crazier. What really gets me is there is abundance of people who here think they know every freakin little thing and that they have the complete answers and lesser mortals dont know any better, that if they were calling the shots they would have made the best decision and its BULL**** they only say it to satisfy themselves its easy to say you would do this or that or that this was wrong or that was wrong when you all you have to do is talk and not actually have to make the difficult choices.

So until someone builds a time machine goes back and stops the war from ever happening we will have to live with the fact that it happened, the bombs were dropped we cant change it, get over it but dont forget it and learn from it.

Here's some food for thought imagine if Hitler would have had an A bomb first think he would have just nuked 1 city?

I wonder if all these people who think a landing on Japan, followed by house to house fighting in a country they never had been in before really would have the balls to jump off that boat? It's easy to be the General but hard to be a grunt. I wouldn't. Seeing someone die in front of you as you pull the trigger is harder than dropping a bomb from thousands of feet up and not seeing the look in their eyes.

I was told yesterday that the Japanese don't teach their kids about WWII. That most kids are oblivious to it even happening. Is this true?

Actually I had an in depth discussion about the Japanese portrayal of WW2 quite recently... according to my Japanese friend that's not actually true.

They are taught all about it. Every single detail.

My friend is 23 years old.

Judging from the sorts of things I'm hearing in this thread... it's the American education system that should be put under the microscope... not the Japanese.
