Im a little worried... -

I heard on a thread that the japanese love light skin. They think its beautiful. And so do i. But Im not white. Im a light skinned black guy, who totally lovesthe japanese and their culture. I want to marry a japanese girl...but would a japanese woman accept me if Im not as light as I could be? Or would it be a challenge for me to find a japanese woman who accepts my darker skin tone? I really need answers here!

Japanese and black couples aren't very common. But they obviously exist.
In all honesty your chances may not be as good as a white or Japanese man. But there are definitely plenty of Japanese girls out there who won't care. I just think it's odd that you would focus on only finding a Japanese girl for marriage. What if the perfect girl for you isn't Japanese? You should broaden your prospects man. Anyways, good luck. |

I'm not gonna sugar coat it for you - Japanese people can be slower to open up to darker skinned people (not to mention foreigners in general) - but that certainly doesn't mean it's not possible. I've seen black/asian couples before, both in and outside Japan. I'm more worried about the fact that you only want to marry a Japanese girl, that's a bit narrow minded. There's nothing special about Japanese women compared to any other culture.
