I don't see why I couldn't but I also don't see how it would make the adaptation faster, I think I'll start throwing it in at 3am though. Because thats when I overslept, my 1am nap.

That probably sounds like a good move...thought the idea of waking up three times while it is dark out is daunting to me.

It's just that when it's dark you are more prone to tiredness, so it would seem logical to have the nap then instead of during the light hours. I've been sleeping in my clothes and with the light on to help make sure I don't oversleep.
