Most of the people are still ignorant of the significance of the historic rise of China , which is at her initial stage only , and will overtakes many people 's expectation notwithstanding the fact that there are so many drawbacks in the Chinese society ; As some of the Japanese are aversive to it , so they will be the people who experience the most painful adaptation ... those who sense it well are already moving to or living in China :-)

China's rise is no more historic than the rise of any other culture, and only an ignorant person would think that China's "rise" was uniquely significant. I'm surprised you mentioned the word "drawbacks", I thought that the PRC was a "workers paradise". Japan is not averse to China's "rise". People in Japan are simply aversive to the rudeness of the Chinese they see here (cutting in front of lines at the market, train station, or bus), or the particular smell of Chinese people (which even my American nose can discern). As for all those people moving to China, or already working there, I know a few, and all of them that I know are looking forward to the day they can leave. I spent a little time in Shanghai a little earlier this year, and I couldn't wait to get back to Tokyo. BTW, it seems that there are record numbers of Chinese now trying to emigrate to Japan, America, and Europe, perhaps China isn't as wonderful a place as some people seem to think it is. |
