Read "Walking After Midnight" by T.D. McKinney over the weekend.

Its a murder mystery and a nice read in the genre of Anne Rice, but without the interminable and repetitive descriptions of every of inch of New Orleans. Its good enough that now I have to read the previous work in the trilogy "Dancing in the Dark" and await the third book to be finished.

I haven't read a vampyric work in ages, but when an author hands you their work and asks for a review, who can turn it down?
