There was no harassment. Grocery store clerks, I'd probably say the same. Auto mechanics, I'm actually not sure, I don't have a lot of experience with auto mechanics. 911 Operators? Seriously? How do you find that relative? Last time I checked, the people behind the teens in line (if there even were any), weren't dying, and the McDonald's wasn't saving any lives.

harass:
1 a : exhaust, fatigue b (1) : to annoy persistently (2) : to create an unpleasant or hostile situation for especially by uninvited and unwelcome verbal or physical conduct
2 : to worry and impede by repeated raids <harassed the enemy>

She was harassed by these kids, they got caught and now they are going to have to make up for it. I still don't see a defense to their actions.

If what they did wasn't wrong, I am trying to figure out who else in society deserves to go through what that drive-thru worker did.

The drive-thru worker didn't "go through" anything. She probably just couldn't understand the blitz of Ebonics and freaked out. Seriously, I don't care how much, by the denotation of the word, the lady was harassed. They did not do anything to harass her.

Since they didn't do anything wrong, then they have the right to do the same thing to anyone, then. Is that what you are saying?

What? No. Not at all. I think if they were doing it and kept doing it after their order was finished and such and did not let go, *then* they would be harassing the drive-thru worker.

So what they did was wrong, but you are saying it isn't harassment. Is that what you are saying?

Not really? How much of my posts do you read? I don't really feel like what they did was wrong, unnecessary, and probably stupid, but not wrong. I don't think it was enough to be in any trouble with the law (and by that I mean, a manager should've come out and told them to blah blah blah, and if it went on any further, *then* call the cops).

I have read every one of your posts.

I guess I thinking about it more philosophically, in that if what they did was unnecessary and stupid, how is it not wrong?

Not all things that are unnecessary and stupid are wrong, but sometimes things that are wrong can also be unnecessary and stupid. I suppose it's kind of like squares and rectangles.

What is something that is unnecessary and stupid that isn't wrong?
