Location: Minnesota
Interests: Japanese language and culture, reading, writing, drawing...
Goals: My main goal currently is to become fluent in Japanese. For that purpose I'm going to Japan for my next school year.

Anyway, nice to meet everyone. I'm a little late in posting here, but better late than never, as they say.

BakuDad here. Found this place through Google after 3 beers. Trying to learn Japanese. I'm damn determined never to give up. Been trying on and off for 5 years. I've used Minna No Nihongo, Nintendo DS MyJapaneseCoach, YesJapan.com, real Japanese people, Japan TV on cable, Miyazaki movies, Kanji cards, Azumi.

Nice to meet everyone.

I have to reintroduce myself. I am Helgen from New York City, I am a freelance photographer, audio producer, and general laborer/English teacher.

I moved to Japan with my wife and child in November, but I have been to Japan 2 times previously. I am not much interested in Anime or Manga, though I do enjoy a good read of Hajime no Ippo (watching it as well), and some GTO, the more realistic animations.

My wife is an artist from Sasebo, Nagasaki, and I document her works (just started to,) and I do photography as I said, though I am still a lightweight. I am interested in urban/street fashion, many music types, mostly Drum & Bass, 90's hip hop, IDM, Dubstep, R&B, Jazz, Rock... Can't name them all, really.

I love computers and gaming, I play Street Fighter III 3rd Strike semi-professionally and have won a few tournaments in USA and play here when I get the chance... Uh, that's it. I have posted some of my works in the creative section, and of course my blog link is below, peace.

My blog about living in Japan, photography of random stuff in it and all types of other shit.

I guess I should reintroduce myself, though I don't really know if anyone who knew me before is still here.
I'm Maku, end of.

Maku: Welcome back!

My Life Sucks- The kids I babysit have drooled, ripped or drawn on all of the cards and put the cars with the little people in the microwave!

I have no Friends- The cats have scratched and destroyed all of the DVDs!

I always owe someone- In fact I put two os in it!

I always ruin my clothes with Bleach!- The show is so dom suspensful I spill my grape soda on them!

But . . .I'll live.
