You can just call me Trinket.
I'm 19 in my second semester of college majoring in electrical engineering.
I'm not obessed with Japan but my house is very japanese insipired and my brother lives in Japan. So, I decided to come here to learn more about the culture. I'm especially interested information about geishas just because it's neat.. so if you know a lot about that just send me a PM.

I live very few animes. My favorites are Paranoia Agent and Ghost in the Shell. I don't really read manga but I love american comics. I like hiking playing tennis pretty much anything to do with the ourdoors. I'm a cat person. I have a massive hello kitty collection that I'm sick of. Lol, andddd I like robots and aliens.

intentions and whatnot:
I becam fasinated by japan and its amazing culture and people when i was very young. My father was a matrial artist and through my child hood he taught me kung-fu,Hop gar. I remeber when i was young the only thing i really ever ate was asian food, because that was really the only thing my parent would cook. I'm very fond japanese anime also, from a young age i rember watching Hayao Miyazaki's movies over and over in the early 90's.
My main reason for joining this community is to learn more about japanese culture and etiquette and hopefully make a few friends.

why do you want to go to japan:
I want to go to japan because im tired of the america, i want to experience a whole new culture and way of living. i want to meet many different people in japan and have many pictures of my visit with the many people i meet.

Hiya! My name is Erin, but most of my friends just call me Rin. I turned twenty back in August, but I'm not in college. I work at an office in the hopes of one day saving up enough money to go to college without having to work.

I really want to learn more about the history and culture of Japan. I just find it so fascinating and completely different from what I'm used to--but in a good way! Plus, I think Japanese boys are way cuter than American boys~! However, I'd mostly want to go to Japan to visit the historical sites, or maybe even the popular, trendy sites. Maybe even experience the culture a little!

Why do you want to go to Japan: I love Japanese culture!
So that's the main reason.
I have always felt more conected to that country then any other one, especially Sweden.
There is so many reasons that I can't even come up with good ones

Well I can tell you a little more about me.
Im a swedish girl who is unemployd atm, but I'm going back to school to study up some grades in January.
I have two wounderfull cat's who is my little babies!
I love animals and nature!
Other things that interest me is different cutures, psychology, philosophy, architecture, computer and playstation games, cooking, conspiracy theorys, having fun, paranormal, religions, interior design etc etc etc.

My dream is to help make this world better in any way I can.
To help people, animals and nature and be the best person I can possible be!

anyways, I'm a chinese girl, 19 , in college (will be 20 yrs old in about 3 months...) was from China when 5, but came to US in california. and I guess I'll be meeting new ppl here in this site, so hope I feel welcome.
I guess I'm different here, since I didn't study japanese, so I do not know japanese, but I'm very fluent in 汉字 ［漢字］ and english, so if anyone need help, I am able to help. but I don't know the regular japanese form of writing.

intentions and whatnot: Learning to read, write, and speak japanese for the purpose(s) of understanding songs i love, anime i love, manga i love, movies i like, video games that come out first in Japan, video games that only come out in Japan, novels that only come out in Japan, and talk to my relatives in japan

why do you want to go to japan: Loves vgames, anime, manga, Japanese novels, and just the culture itself. Need to visit Shinjuku, Akihabara, and that bookstore area... Been interested in starting TRPG's but with no luck... No actual Japanese group wants to RP with me cause I need translate-heavy. Want to visit my relatives there too sometime.

Love the novel toki wo kakeru shoujo so far, translating as i go, slowly but surely.
