No surprise - simple introduction -
11-02-2011, 11:10 AM
Hello all, as my first activity on this forum (apart from registering, of course) I intorduce myself to the community.
Name: Tamas Coming to you from: Hungary First Breath: January 1976 (yes, I'm THAT old) [/b][BIntentions and whatnot:[/b] To keep my brain tuned and have a distinct caharacteristic in case I get to the workforce market. Why do you want to go to Japan: To get surrounded by the culture, which I appreciate so much. I like the Japanese work ethic and the military ethic, as well (not the cruelty side, though) and in the long run I'd like to work for a Japanese company interacting with native Japanese on a daily routine. Favourite Manga/Anime: None. Actually after passing the N4 level JLPT last December I decided to have an off year and not attempt level N3 in 2011. Instead I ordered 5 books (mostly works by contemporary Japanese authors) and then got hold of another 30. I'm now over the 1st and reading the 2nd and enjoy every moment of it. |

this text is for tamas:I want to go to Japan, indeed for the wonderful culture that it have and for a better future. Perhaps there in your country, things are going well, but here the situation is not really pink. I like the traditions of Japan, but also in my country ... the problem is that Romania can not compare with Japan, and I think I will have a better life there, than in my country where people just doing worst things. Few are those who try to help us,as they can. I have a beautiful country..... visit Romania for its landscape, is a beautiful country but not to live in it, because it is a country financially,Finished .

Hi, my name is Vikka~ -

I just signed up, but honestly, this isn't my first time to see this site. I go here frequently to read through the forums, and especially look through the pictures, but I never really thought about creating an account until now.
I love Japan with a passion. I'm obsessed with it- ask anyone who knows me! It started when I was about 3 years old. I watched the movie Mulan, and it instantly became my favorite movies. Though the story is based in China, it still as that Asian "oriental" feel to it. After that I would always drag my mom into Chinese restaurants so I could see Chinese/Japanese architecture and art. As I got older, I learned about the different types of East Asian cultures and sculpted my interest to Japan. Now, I am 15 years old (soon to be 16, in March) and I plan on graduating next year (my junior year) early so I can go my senior year to Japan as a foreign exchange student with the club Rotary Youth Exchange. In the meantime, I'm learning Japanese and I'm feeding my obsession with Japan's culture by researching everything about it and finding others who share my passion. ~Thanks! |

Hey~!
I'm 22 from Canada, and have been trying to learn Japanese at my own pace for a year or so until this term (I enrolled in a course). I think I know enough to be able to pass the JLPT N4 at the moment. I hope to stick around for a while =] |
