I am also looking for a guy who will appreciate me for who i am what i look like and my unique personality. I'd just prefer it to be an asian. Everyone has preferences, don't they??
In my experience, the vast majority of Asians are assholes (like everyone else).

Because of this, when you meet a decent person, it has nothing to do with them being Asian, it's all to do with who they are as an individual. Thus, any individual from any nation could be decent.

I really don't get the culture thing. You might be thinking of historically based cinema rather than real life. I don't think you sound like you have much real experience in Asia, rather than just you've been lured in by certain types of media who're preaching to you to make money.

From my perspective, what do I like about Thai culture that makes them attractive? 1, women are more submissive and easy to control (and Asian husbands will probably expect a very submissive wife in return). 2, being smaller and with a better diet, they're less likely to get fat half way through your relationship and spoil your once decent sex life. 3, I don't really like any religons, but I especially dislike theist religions; Thais are more likely to be Buddhist and thus you don't have to find out on your 13th date with a girl that she's a Christian who's waiting for Jesus to return...

So there are some bonuses about Thai culture, but that's easily weighed down by the downs: 1, bad eating habits, not just in etiquette, but also, I don't like watching people eating raw crabs (shells and all), bugs, chicken featus from eggs, so on. 2, I hate the Thai monarchy and can go to jail if I say that in public; there's no democracy and the Thais love it, so long as the corruption swings in their favor. 3, I really dislike the slow development of their children due to their culture; you like Asians? I hope you like sharing a bed with a 1-16 year old step son/daughter if you marry a partner with children, coz those little critters cry like 3 year old white kids when they can't sleep with mommy at night (in most things, I find the Thai children are anywhere between 5 - 10 years behind white children). Things like this, the list goes on.

Not trying to bag Asian culture, just trying to bag you.

Why do you hate the Thai monarchy?

They have done many good thing's for the Northerner's including North East..

You have to think that they also need to juggle between the government and the people.. Thailand is a confusing situation at the best of times..

By the way, your house looks awesome and it reminds me of my healthy travel experience in the North east.. Makes me want to come back (P.S. Probably a good idea to remove the photo and video now)

Cheers - Oz

Because they throw people in jail for writing a book. Because they support anti-democratic revolutions that put the current government into place.

Plans for 2010?

Probably dropping Informatic Engineering to follow Linguistics or International Relations.

or philosophy. (metaphysics and epistemology)

For 2010 I'm hoping to earn my associates degree by the end of the year, but I also hope to: Get a decent part-time job, improve my Japanese, and travel in free time.
