Japan Night in New York City

Hi guys, nice to meet you all!

I'm currently organizing a Japan Night in New York City to be held this coming September, and I was wondering if you were aware of any legit USA-based bands that play original J-Rock -like music or cover J-Rock/Pop bands. I'd like to get a band with a decent following into the fold, be it that this is the first annual event! We are also raising awareness of the pillows that night, and it will be a great time for anyone who enjoys J-Rock music!

The thing you are planning to do is interesting. What a pity I know nothing about the instument. But I like music ,hope everything goes well with you.
