SOS! Emergent Japanese translation help! - 08-15-2010, 06:36 PM

hello all the Japanese friend here! i found this forum through google because one of my friend found a drift bottle from the ocean. there is a letter written in Japanese, none of us could read it. the bottle is very old looked like it was in the ocean for many years already. we have no idea what is about, if there is someone needs help or something important, why dont we just give a second and help them out?

my friend scanned it as a PDF file, i just tried to post it here, but it's too big that I couldnt upload it. i hope someone can email me and I will forward this file to him

my email is: [email protected]

please email me, we really appreciate it!!

you all have a nice day!

if you open the PDF file and select File -> save as, you should be able to save it in a different format. Try to convert it to Jpeg or Gif as you'll get more help if it's posted upfront.

Thank you all, someone has replied me, and I think we know what's the letter talking about.

it's really hard for this drift bottle goes from Japan to America, amazing!

Post the pic here, and you will likely get some good help. Most people who help here do not want to be receiving files from strangers by email.

To All You Skeptics:

This is for real despite what you may think. It was my friend (JF member) who had volunteered to take a look at the letter. I'm not revealing the content without OP's consent, but rest assured that it is a very heart-warming story. The bottle actually traveled across the Ocean to OP's country, which is so far away.
