I noticed that some of the posters here where clueless on how other Asian races view varies issues concerning Japan and foreigners(.mostly about whites).
I wanted to bring examples of some opinions that other Asians think/talk about. Here are a couple of threads. Is Japan a potential threat? - Asia Finest Discussion Forum Do you think Japan apologized enough?? - Asia Finest Discussion Forum what is wrong with east asian race - Asia Finest Discussion Forum How do you feel about Weeaboos and Wapanese people? - Asia Finest Discussion Forum You might agree with some of it, you might disagree. Point is, the different Asian countries form their own ideas on whats going on. I can't capture all the opinions of all Asians in a few threads, but if this wets your appetite, it's not hard to find more info. |

@CoolNard
In discussion here. I noticed some posters unaware of Ideas and Attitudes that existed in Asian countries. Japan is not isolated by great distances of water like Hawaii. Japan is right there in the thick of Asia. I think to discuss political/international issues concerning Japan, It is important to understand what Japans neighbors think and how Japan has to deal with them too. Those post are all real, just like the posts here are real. Besides, this is a Japanese forum. Negative or positive, it's real and should be made aware of. @Ronin4Hire retarded -yes many. But it's for real. Spending some time on that site. one finds a good snapshot of the different opinions and attitudes from each Asian nation. Each country has people for and against different issues but there are overall national trends also. like Koreans wan revenge against Japan. China feels U.S. is challenging them. etc... |

Yeah fair enough...
But I can show you a bunch of white people or black people that think the same way. I mean... these sorts of views are out there and there is no doubt about it.. but it doesn't mean they represent the majority. I'm aware of the high nationalist sentiment in Korea. I'm aware of the propaganda of the Chinese against the Japanese. I guess what I'm saying is that as shocking as some of these viewpoints you've shown us are... I don't think my opinion on anything has changed. That's just my position on it. |

^ I used to think that too the internet crowd is a skewed crowd. The real world majority is different.
Id say the trolls spend a disproportionate time on the internet and they get disproportionate representation. but expect for them, these forums are mostly people like you and me. Like people in a bar drinking, we say more than usual when drunk, but we are the same person next day at work. I think we say things on the internet that we would not say to our friends or coworkers, But it's all coming from normal people. I think the internet is the voices of the majority, We just don't speak this way in real life(Thank God). |

Though I prefer to think about the many reasonable people out there than focus on the many people that aren't reasonable. Asian or otherwise. After all.. the only way we can truly know who is in the majority is if we spied on every single person and learnt what they said behind closed doors. It's less stressful for one thing |

I'm other Asian, and, although I also only skim read most of the threads, I can say that there was no lack of idiotic remarks. Presuming some of them were even from other Asians, they don't necessarily reflect my opinions at all. On another note, this is a Japan forum. I wouldn't expect much potential for a balanced discussion regarding Japan versus Korea, China or America -- or any other country, for that matter... honestly. Though, I would hope for one. |
