I watched a boy throw an empty cup of pop on the ground two feet from a garbage can. Where I live, that would be unthinkable.

I live on the tail-end of the dateline, so Halloween just ended for us here. We had about 50 kids come to our house, all in costume and no trouble-makers.
Believe me, it surprises and baffles a lot of people. I know -teenagers- who look at teenagers like that and wonder what the heck their problem is. No idea where it comes from; some kind of overblown, misplaced sense of entitlement. Although having said that, I used to work the teen night at a nightclub and we hardly ever had any trouble with them.

Teenagers will be teenagers. They like to go against mainstream, so if the entire world is celebrating Halloween, they'll just diss it and walk away.

Plus the dressing up as monsters and the trick-or-treating thing is meant for little kids to enjoy. From 12 up, the only exciting part about Halloween is they get to squeeze into slutty costumes, it's like regular boozing parties except they can act dirty and be fine with it cause they're in a costume...

Depends on which neighbourhood you live in.

Mine hasn't got much kid and it's kinda of a rough place so not a lot of kid passes by.

But a lot of grown up parties and everyone is dressed up in costume.

In the suburbs there is more kids, so there is a lot more activities for the kids.

Blame the others!

Halloween isn't popular here. All Saints day is celebrated more.

People sometimes get stupid on Halloween, but other than that, it's a good holiday. For me at least.
