its 3% overall!!!. if you make 200 000 you can afford basically anything you need. that money instead off being spent on couple of expensive business diners goes to people who have to think if they are going to eat next week. |

So...from what I have heard from people that Bush (the son) wasn't properly elected. Something about the votes in Florida not being counted or the supreme court intervening or some such as that. That makes two illegal presidents in a row. I thought us having a split party government now was a bugger, not to mention following on the heals of Gordon Freaking Brown. You know, if any other country had illegal presidents elected the US would have troops over there in and instant forcing the government out and holding new elections at gun point.

you made me laugh just then. before you step into the shoes of one of those'top 1% people who have everything they need" consider what they might actually use it for. I have known a plethora of buisnessmen across the world,it's part of my job to know these people. The vast majority are not like those you see on TV. The vast majority are types who do indeed donate to good causes. Who go out on the weekends with salvation army and build houses. I can only assume that you are getting your facts from Television, which apart from being foolish,is clearly providing you with the wrong image of waht is occouring in the united states. |

You are right, the US would have troops over and taking over if it were any other country. Somalia, for instance. |

and yet i know more about recent american politics than average joe...
im not saying people who earn much are douche bags or anything. just those 6k is just another way of donation. the old america that right wing wants had some 40% tax for the rich. sounds better? i aside with pure math - 1% with little to no harm and 99% with little help wins in my opinion. i totally hope we here would have a progressive tax policy even if my family would have to pay more. and my sources are political shows. sorry for not having Times magazine in the part of the world some there think is a country. P.S not living only with what you need. just that damn 3% out of anything is basically nothing! im going to have a pie. i bet more than 3% is going to be small pieces left that i will throw out with the rest of the box. see my point? |

in short,Obama has taken all that america stands for,Freedom, and is slowly crushing it with socialist policies that take from everyone and give to the poor. They tried the same thing in russia a while back, among other things, that triggered the revoloution there. Oh,and for the record,i'm studying ecenomics here, and using some of Obama's policies on how not to budget. Go figure. |

my misguided info can only come from their political shows broadcast.
and actually i don't think i am. which point exactly? i had my doubts about 3% tax being repealed and yet it probably will since right wing has gotten bigger. only tax increase was the 3%. and for rest of the people some of them were decreased as far as i am informed. kyokoUK...ah. part of the world as Europe. there is alarming number of people who think that whole Europe is a single country. try not to overreact. |
