During the Bosnian War many Australian citizens whose family had emmigrated from that region went back to fight in the conflict. Many were later accused of being involved in some of the atrocities and war crimes that occurred during that conflict.

But as a British citizen Kyoko just needs to gain Japanese citizenship which she could very possibly do since she is "genetically" Japanese (There is no such thing as being genetically Japanese but yeah.. I understand she means having Japanese ancestry).

She can also fight in the Japanese military without renouncing her British citizenship. It is not unheard of to hear of British nationals who fight for Canada, Australia and New Zealand and vice versa as they are also citizens of Canada Australia and New Zealand too. (That could of course just extend to countries that used to be in the Empire though.)

In the end it just depends on the laws of your country.
Yeah, those nations you named are part of the United Kingdom Commonwealth. We ended the empire but mostly all them united into the UK Commonwealth, we have something like 57 members. And we have just been having the Commonwealth Games which are sort of like an UKC only olympics. So now I guess the sun never sets on the British Commonwealth

You're right....

However it is no longer officially called the British Commonwealth but the "Commonwealth of Nations".

I'm sure Brit's still like to call it the "British Commonwealth" though

I'd be surprised if the Commonwealth lasted another century to be honest.

What with Britain being swallowed up by the EU on the one hand and countries slowly leaving/being kicked out (Zimbabwe, Fiji) on the other.

Thanks RickOShay.
I is gonna take the bait anyways up!

I live in Japan, my wife is Japanese. I am English (the UK/England designation).
I will fight for Japan, as they are now my blood. I know Japan is hardcore when it comes to fighting. Their history is as bloody as my England roots.
Many countries have lost in a battle against Japan. Why? Because Japan can fight beyond death, just like the way England did.
The only issue is the way that USA cut off the balls of Japan in such a brutal way.
If America had not castrated Japan, then they would have at least had a partner with balls to stand against the Asian contenders.

I'd be very indignant. And I'd stage something for it. But IMO, to physically engage in combat would be like throwing money onto the streets; heck I wouldn't even do that for my own country. -.- Because me believes in peaceful resolutions.

You're implying that Aliens have no feelings at all and how would you know that it wasn't really humans that initiated the war?
