New Year Resolutions Anyone? - 12-21-2010, 09:45 PM

Do you make resolutions?

do you usually manage to keep them?

I can't say that I do--no will power.

Do the Japanese make New Year resolutions do you know?

One resolution I will keep is to cease making resolutions! One never really keeps up with the "other" kind....

No resolutions. I only have one thing I wanna do in 2011, and it's start watching Dexter and Fringe.

my ressolution is to improve my french by reading french literature, start serious with japanese and get myself into university that would all be good things .

I usually take resolution that I end up forgetting. But for 2011, I want to live. What I mean is that I want to accomplish whatever I wanted to do in the past and couldn't or didn't have time to do because of college and university. First off, I want to try the JLPT N3 in december 2011 (in Canada, we can't try it in July, unfortunately). Then, I want to get my permanent job and maybe try out for my licenses... it's been 5 years now and I'm still with my temp...

すべてを見て、聞いているよ。

Sème le vent, récolte la tempête;
Sème le bonheur, tu récolteras l'amour.

I have plenty of goals in life but I don't worry about something like the New Year to think about them or decide to put them in place. It's just another date to me with little importance.
