Bullsh*t. You can have achievement in a classless society.

Despite the offical allegiance to the communist ideal, China is not, and never has been a classless society. Mao collapsed the multitude of levels down to thre or four (depending on your viewpoint) and replaced the criteria for distinguishing one class from another, but class divisions were always present and still are. A peasant farmer is not the same class as a government worker, and neither are peers to the military commanders. There are even serious legal differences between those who reside in rural and urban areas.

Communism is a principle, a theory. And theories often do not hold up when put into practice. The theory of everyone being treated equally and working only for the common good is a worthy ideal, but far from a viable construct for human society with its infinite variables.

Only an open mind and open heart can be filled with life.

Ronin, M. Jordan will outclass you in Basketball reguardless of your economical class. He will allways be a better basketball player than you. Class isn't allways about economics. You have straight A student..the top of the class. Valivictorian..Best in shool.

Class will segregate itself no matter what you want to say because people of similer ability and goals will associate with each other. How do you propose preventing those who are better at things from being better? Why would you stop a natural born leader from being a leader? Envy starts right at "That person can play chess better than me."

I think you are misunderstanding what is meant by class.

Unfortnately for the Miami Heat , tell that to Le Bron dude.
They have lots of top class from Le Bron James to Chris Bosh and have tanked last 0-9 games as the wheels come off the 'epic fail wagon'. Individual class does not necessarily translate into outclassing your opposition.
What many people now overlook is that Jordan played in the NBA for seven seasons before winning his first title. Some even doubted he ever would. It wasn't until the right collection of players (along with the appropriate coach to guide them) was assembled in the Windy City that the dynasty began to take shape. Six trips to the NBA Finals, six championships...

Socio economic class is a by product of several factors..of wich many are because some people have better business sense than others. Had a better idea that sold well, "pet rock" for instance...though why it sold is beyound me.

You can give me the "oh the poor underclass being downtrodden apon" and while that's true, it does happen. It's not the only reason you end up with economic classes. If person A does more than person B, they should get more as a by product of that effort, capitolism generally allows for that to show through. Despite some of it's problems, people who strive and work hard can make it big. Add natural talent to that and you can become super rich.

You won't be able to have a "classless" culture until you destroy man's will to be the best. He's competitive nature. Course that will pretty much end mankind, since that competitiveness is why humans became the dominate species on earth.

Fluffy; Despite when Jordan won his first title, he was still an NBA player, thus the point I was makeing still applies. He was more than likely a better basketball player than Ronin.

Stop talking out of your ass. At the centre of modern economics is the law of supply and demand. It has nothing to do with effort.

You know as much about human nature as you do about political science (which some would argue is the same thing).

Again dude, NBA Championships are team titles not awarded to a single player.

And again Jordan did not win his title alone.

Jordan was in the NBA for seven years before the Chicago Bulls including coach Phil Jackson, Scotty Pippen and a supporting cast of others made it possible to win.
