It has it's ups and downs as all browser, but for script decoding (page loading) its the fastest. Plus all my bookmarks and my main page are all connected to my account and every time I reinstall my PC, I just log in to Opera Link and voila, everything back, exactly as it was. Plus, mouse gestures once you learn them, you almost can leave the keyboard alone. My work mail account, is also connected in Opera, instead of in Outlook or other applications.
The best (imo) is that I have a huge window in which I see the pages, not alot of menus thrown around everywhere, just a simple address bar and thats all. But it has its own down points. For full Flash driven sites for example, the rendering is slower than in Chrome, IE or Firefox. For password login Ctrl+ Enter as in Opera doesn't work? Because the last time I checked they had pretty similar shortcuts (but that was back in Beta for Chrome). "Manganese? Is that manga language?" - lol? |

You don't get those problems that you got whith Chrome. Checking your mail for instance. I check my mail everyday, and with Opera all I have to is open a new tab, click on the image in my speed dial (that's an Opera feature) and presto, the inbox with my mail opens. That's it.
Another damn good thing what Opera has and other browsers don't is mouse gestures. You know, every time when you're browsing a web page you want to scroll back, so you got to move your mouse and click on the arrow, well with mouse gestures all I have to do is hold the right mouse button and click on the left button and the page scrolls back (You have no idea how comfortable that is). Then there are the search engines that quickly, help you search for something you need. For instance, if I want to look something up in the wikipedia, all I have to do is open a new tab, type w <the thing I'm looking for>, and that wikipedia page loads. Saves me the time in opening the wiki page and typing in the seach box there. |

Ahhh I see. Sounds pretty good, but I think I'll just stick to Chrome for now. I like that it has a search box for Google, cause I use that a lot, and it loads pretty damn fast, which really is all I care about. If I keep getting weird issues I can't manage to solve I might think about switching to Opera though. I'll keep ya posted.
PS: Plue, the bookmark page in Chrome is so much prettier... >.<' everything is relative and contradictory ~

Opera is just as fast as Chrome. In fact these two are constantly fighting for the 'fastest browser' title. But if you want to be glued to Chrome that's your choice, I just think it's silly to be devoted to a browser that has problems, while there are other, good alternatives. You're just like my friend who keeps using IE simply because he's used to it. |

Nah, just kidding. You know, with my luck I bet I'd be getting the same issues no matter which one I used. I'm not saying Chrome is better, I'm saying I'll keep using it for now, cause it does its job and I'm B+ satisfied with it. My choice, my loss. everything is relative and contradictory ~
