Nicknames? - 02-09-2011, 02:50 AM

I thought it'd be pretty interesting to see what kind of nicknames people've been given. So yeah. What nicknames do you guys have? Also why you have that nickname would be pretty nice.

Suki--> My mom's always called me that. I just don't even.
Rin---> I don't even know this one either. I've been something since middle school.
Miki---> This one guy just kind of shortened my name and all. So yeah. Makes sense though not the most popular name in Rin history.
Jar Jar Binx---> I get just as crazy as that snazzy guy.
Rammy/Chauchau---> Scott Pilgrim

*plooka plooka*

name is rudolf. as nicknames go then there were these 5 girls form my elementary school who used to call me ruffy for several years. dunno how it started. and some of my other friends called me rusty from time to time since it often was my online name.
well from time to time i can still hear cuter versions of my name like - rududu, rudy etc...

My nickname is unsurprisingly "Robin" . . . It's not even remotely like my real name, but when it came to picking a name for online it's the name I picked, and since then it just kind of clicked with my friends. In fact they call it me that much that I sometimes forget to respond to my real name, and one time when someone asked me my name I had to stop and think XD

From school, I've had nicknames like 'Jambo, min' and 'James Pedro'. 'min' being Scottish for 'man' and no idea about Pedro. My surname is Peters but still.....I've no idea. Suppose it sounded funny. hahahaha. I've also titled myself Miku, from shortening the Greek spelling of my middle name. hahahahahah

My initials are RDKW. It actually says on my driver's license R~~~ DK W~~~, so my friends just started calling me "DK" from the initials of my two middle names. It's been like that for a while now. It's also an ice breaker as well because I have to explain that "No, it's not Donkey Kong..."

That's definitely one I get a lot as well, especially since I'm in Tokyo. Not as much as Donkey Kong though.

Name -> Catalin, nickname -> Alin (pronounced Alain) or Cata or Protheus (the last is a name I've gotten from the net gaming bars a long time ago, and now I use it everywhere on the net, even my ultralight trainer pilot which I met first on a forum calls me like this).
