P.S these days i only drink white wine.
wow I'd love that holiday. I wish we had one like that in japan.

Genmai cha, please. We can open a bottle of umeshu later.

Drinking stories, eh? Most of mine are pretty tame lately, but the friends I drink with have beeing supplying some "entertainment". Last winter we were drinking in our favorite Korean restaurant and at dawn everyone was headed home. My buddy Kelvin was too drunk to drive and lived somewhere on my way home, so they put him in my car. Only problem was he was too far gone to even remember what street he lived on. He woke up hours later on my dining room floor with a quilt, pillow, yukata, and no idea where he was or how he got there. But he was resourceful. I was treated to hot tea and toast when I got up to check on him.

Nah, the owner is a friend too and wanted to close and go home to his new bride.

Actually the guy is now teaching in Japan, not far outside of Tokyo. We were celebrating his landing the job that night.

I started a drinking game where you'd go through the alphabet choosing a drink starting with the letter a through to z. It starts okay but to this day I think the furthest I ever got was Whisky. I don't remember much as i'd pretty much blacked out by then It was scary because I'd wake up in places and not know how I'd gotten there.

The worst was waking up miles from home with broken ribs and the best was waking up in a girls aparment and then having to try and remember her name over a cup of tea
