Just seen pictures. Shocking, but I have faith Japan can recover. Thoughts and prayers with people in affected areas, and relatives of those people

Tokyo is pretty ok, other than the craziness of people masses due to shut down transportation and cell phones down and stuff. I couldn't get home and had to take refuge in an office building but I had internet.
Things in Tokyo are starting to get back to normal, but I heard there may be some damage to Tokyo Tower.

Apparently there might be a big earthquake again next week. Anyone else heard about this?

There's no way to predict, it could be next week, next year, or in 100 years, or it could be in 5 minutes.

well...you still better be prepared to be able to escape from your house anytime. we are having countless earthquakes since yesterday and it seems like the epicenters are heading down toward south. first couple of dozen hit Tohoku, following ones hit Niigata, Ibaraki, Nagano, Gunma, far shore of Chiba, and Izu. Now I can imagine Japan break into millions of pieces.
