Going to Japan in APRIL .. bad idea ? -

Ok Folks .. Were in a bit of a rut since this earthquake/tsunami rocked Japan :
We've booked a flight to Japan in April 7 to the end of the month. Can anyone provide some thoughts on how safe it is to go down ( hoping the madness stopped ) --- or is it even not worth the trouble making the trip down. There are 11 of us going and contemplating about what to do with our trip ; All jokes aside ; we'd really like to hear thoughts from anyone who is currently there right now we greatly appreciate your feedback!

im set to fly to tokyo in april also (27th-14th may). Heard alot of mixed opinions on this but 6 weeks is a long time and i cant help but imagine (and hope) tokyo with the power and travel issues should be alot better then. Not too worried if theres an element of danger or not - if its possible to fly i'll be going.
