Solutions after Blast - 03-15-2011, 01:09 PM

The world community has to think about solutions to safe the further life on this earth. Therefore we have to build, in an enormous amount and effort of engineering an worldwide logistics power, an plumb container. This plumb container should be build near japan to be shipped by helicopters to enclose the blasted Fukushima nuclear plant.

This is an catastrophe which will change the life of all inhabitants of this planet. therefore we need worldwide solutions

Change life for all inhabitants of this planet??

Life has barely changed at all here in Hokkaido. Can't see how this is going to affect the lives of those from other countries!!

Throwing a big dome thingy over the reactors is not an incredibly ridicuous idea though

Well, perhaps "all inhabitants" will vote for some alternative sources of energy after researching results of recent nuclear disaster.....

Japan earthquake - 03-15-2011, 03:32 PM

Hello all,

I'm a journalist from a local British newspaper and I wonder if anyone might be able to put me in touch with anyone who is from North London who witnessed the terrible events in Japan, either because they are still out there or have just come back. Obviously it's a very sensitive time but I am keen to speak to someone if they're happy to speak to me.

Best wishes,
Sanchez Manning

My number is 0207 433 6235

I still think nuclear power is the way to go guys. The ones affected seem to be pretty old and were set to be decommisioned in the not to distant future before this epic set of circumstances struck japan.

New revisions or just the latests design plants are needed. Forget burning more fossil fuels

My solution? Improve tsunami defences. The quake caused a bit of destruction, but in my eyes, it was the tsunami that destroyed most things. The electrical safety implications at the plant were submerged in water, hence, why the plant is in peril. The water pervented the implications from doing their job properly.
