Tony Blair's just been the best that this country can do that most of us can remember, that's all!

It's ridiculous, the idea that the whole economy would fail because people have a day off work when they actually just had one!

Gordon Brown bullied Tony Blair to leave, actually. Now I am not saying Tony Blair was absolutely fantastic but at least when he was in power there weren't cuts everywhere. He is just not the one who cut everything in the
80s. That's all I'm saying. And what I didn't realise was that there are actually foreign dictators going to this. I don't think someone that had the misfortune of being George Bush's best buddy is much worse, somehow.

At first, I couldn't really care either way, but now its making me sick to my stomach. I can't watch ten minutes of TV without hearing something or other about "what hairstyle Kate will sport for the wedding," or "how much this whole thing is SUCH a fairytale come true," or "what the proper attire for men and women is going to be," or "how I can purchase my own replica of that engagement ring."

It's funny, as I'm watching GMA on abc news right now, the live-coverage reporters are showing off their wardrobes for the wedding as a tiny little headline reading, "Deadly tornado killed at least 196 in Southern states" shimmies across the bottom of the screen.

who says England has no culture Missy?

It might not be for any kind.. especially not for me personally^^ but England certainly has a strong historic culture.

How's a royal engagement a """cultural""" event that should make people proud of their culture?

I don't know about you British people but I do not consider anyone's wedding to be part of my culture. Not even if I was pro-monarchy.

everything is relative and contradictory ~
