If you enter it with the notion that any information you disclose is as good as being on the 6 o'clock news, then you'll be more than safe.
Your name, number, and address have been in the phone book for years, attaching a picture, birthday, and a variety of random opinions to it is a step many of us have seemed to have no qualms with.
