Are Japanese women in general attractive?

I think that at least some are very familiar with the concept of gender equality,and even if most aren't,there are still a fair few sexist women in Japan I should think. I think men still seem to be more sexist to women than women are to men though(I'll admit that this is just what I saw in Episode Final!) which I would never say about the UK(and what I've seen of the US),not by a long shot. And of course,some men and women might be familiar with the concept but not try and pervert the course of justice. Don't forget they are close to China so they must be getting there slowly. there aren't things like female prime ministers which is bad,but on the other hand they occasionally surprise you and put them in a position which they might not be in in the West. And of course they did make an Australian girl the first foreign geisha a couple of years back.

Yeah,I think the majority of them just don't really want to bring it up. They don't like sensitive topics do they?

I think is the comparison of the dress sense and make up. Generally I think there is beaut every part of the world, but in term of dolling, Japanese and Korean ladies r more hardworking.

lol @ shoots self in face. You're funny and I also see that you get your fair share of compliments on on how pretty you are so hmph!? It seems that some men on here think of you the same way some of the other men think of Japanese girls. Meaning they adore you (aww) just like how others adore Japanese girls.

Maybe a guy doesn't like white girls, big deal? Maybe a guy loves white girls..again big deal? I know some white girls that don't like white guys- no if, ands, or buts. I'm over it! There are only like 8 billion people in the world !

Although on the flip side, it would be irritating to see all the lovely women on here going on and on about how gorgeous and superior Japanese men are to all other men. I'm sure the boys on here would have pretty lengthy arguments arguing the point.

Regarding Japanese women, this is my honest generalization of the average one compared to the western women I've known;

• thinner
• shorter
• not prettier or uglier faces, same really, full spectrum
• more concerned with fashion (in both good and bad ways)
• they live in a culture where not wearing make-up to work is rude
• not very familiar with the concept of gender-equality
• much less opinionated
• quite reserved and quiet
• less aggressive
• expect to be led
• more dependent on parents/spouse
• a little confused between the concepts of cute and sexy
• more naive
• less bossy / pushy / demanding
• as insecure about western girls as the other way around
• less adventurous / more predictable
• not as concerned about bigger age gaps with their partner
• not as concerned about the physical appearance of their partner

There are a huge amount of women in Japan who don't fit in that description at all, this is just a massive generalization based on what I've seen.

Strange post to me and this IS meant to start a flame war!! no im just kidding but some things I observed here:
1) when you advise/lecture someone on how their post might be perceived as insulting some other person/race/culture do you not lose creditability when you, yourself, include what could also be perceived as an insult (i.e. fanatics)
2) Why even waste the time to generalize the "average" Japanese female and then follow it up with "huge amount of women who don't fit that description"? So there are 2 massive populations of the "average" female out there that we can generalize? and, if so, is the other population that doesn't conform to your list like the Western female? Are there 2 massive populations of the "average" female in the West and the one that isn't used as the basis of comparison in this list just like the one in Japan? So many questions! lol

quite simply, Japanese women tend to have the characteristics I listed more often than western women.

they also tend to have straight black hair, but there are heaps of women here who don't , it isn't 2 groups, just tendency, don't try to simplify it to something it isn't

Don't let it get to you, this forum represents a very small minority of the male population. For every guy that loves Asian/Japanese women and would never date a "white girl" there are 10 out there that think exactly the opposite way. You just won't find those people here, and not in Japan either.

I just like to think I don't fit this awful stereotype people are saying about 'white women' and it upsets me to think that people may believe I'm like that without knowing me - then again, I guess I wouldn't want to hang out with those people anyway ^_^;

It's upsetting because, I don't think I'm like that, and most of those are negatives in comparison to what you've said about other races. Where I am from, everything is based on politeness, I was brought up to be polite, and humble. I'm not saying I'm supa amazinz or anything, I'm just not a rude, loud person and you shouldn't think of all english women like that.

Probably taking it too personally, but when someone attributes me to being a certain way because of my skin colour it's hard not to.

I dated for some years an English girl and It was really an entire satisfaction. A big surprise! There was nothing about loud, impolite etc..she was very intelligent, empathetic and very self-confident. I've been dating all the time white girls and I'm very satisfied. I can't find better than that
Some people saw drunk tourist girls in holiday resorts like in "ayia napa partys in Cyprus" or in "Playa del ingles partys in Gran Canaria Spain" and they thought ALL English girls should be like this. Scandinavian girls are more drunks and noisy but I'd never say that all Scandinavian girls are like this.

It's a question of level and education. Every girl is unique and different. Western men can experience bad experiences in relationship with Asiatic girls too! The risk and the disappointment is even higher! So, there is no reason to think bad about White girls. A gut relationship is a hard work and if you succeed you will get everything which you desire from a girl
