I got rid of that quickly after my first real boyfriend was Japanese at age 16, and I got even closer to the community. Most of my friends went to japan or are in Japan now.

Do you even speak Japanese?
So you even compare Japanese-Americans to real Japanese..

I know what I am talking about trust me! Very different people yes because yes, they have grown up very differently.

Different culture just very, very different to the Western World.

No, not Japanese American. They are not citizens, and most will not be called "american" in the first place. They are still Japanese, they stiill go back and forth, and as I said, a lot of my friends are currently in Japan as well. I always refer to them before I make a lot of assumptions, cause Japanese people kind of know their country better than you or me.

Why would you feel nervous to go somewhere else?

The it could be anything goes is the facinating thing about leaving your home country.

How old are you if you don'T mind me asking?

Hmm.. "Don't you think ............................................ is better and good" and "Didn't you say............................................"

Its no different from any other culture's nagging/complaining, but they are good at it.....

There is no end to any discussion unless you agree with her, its not even a matter of facts or anything like that... my cousin's wife like to use previous experieince and history... she won't say "You spent so much on that golf trip", but instead she will say things like "that golf trip wasn't too expensive, its almost the same price as this bag I wanted"...

hard to describe, you have to be there to know what its like... just example won't do, because they add the nagging voice and the facial expression to it.... somtime, the facial expression looks so doom and gloom that you think her dad died or something...

just generalization, but this is very typical with the ones that I came in contact with..

Since the topic of korean girls came up, I will give you guys 3 story to think about (Slightly off topic)

story 1
I was seeing this Korean girl for about 2 weeks during my university years. She just landed in Canada for about 3 months at the time. We were not dating, no kiss or hand holding or anything physical at all. We went to the movie once, while lining up for the ticket, this caucasian girl, long legs very very pretty, said "Excuse me" and try to walk pass us. I look at this girl briefly, for maybe about 2 seconds. Turn around and had a palm across my face.. she started going nuts saying things like I didn't respect her and crap, and that i should never look at, or even think about another girl when i was on a date with her

story 2
An good of mine were dating a korean girl(about 8 years ago), they've been together for about 7 months, girl was an immigrant for about 2 years at the time, living together sharing an apartment. Like all relationships, there were ups and downs. Once, they had an argument, over something trivial (I think about how he always go out for beer with his friends on Fridays)..... the argument happen on a Tuesday or wednesday night, and they didn't talk to each other. Thursday morning, the office gave him a notice that they need him to fly out to BC for a couple of days. He took off on Friday morning without telling her. The girl went crazy, calling everyone looking for him, she thought that he was with me, and practically camped outside my place till around monday, calling me like every 15-20 minutes. When Mike came back on the following wednesday, he open the door to his apartment, anything that worth something is missing, anything that worth nothng was cut up by exacto knife. Police was involved and all that

story 3
One of my dad's business associate married a Korean girl. 9 months into the marriage, she accuse him of cheating, without any confrontation or discussion, her, her dad and her brother wait for him at home after work and beat the living day light out of him.......

just something i think worth sharing...
