People are different, actually every individual no matter where they are in the world are different from one another, they might share some characteristic but they are still different. And that's what you fail to realize...sure a bunch of Japanese may be super nice but that doesn't mean that there ALL nice. Sure some Westerners might fat\loud and ignorant but they aren't ALL like that...

Dude what you are saying is true to me. Fact is it's a complete different society with complete different people!!

You can't just say Western World = Asian World

What an Ignorant thing to say! Learn that the Asian World is a complete different World.

It's a different part of this World and very, very different to our World.

This is just a formal phrase.. of course there is only one world..

However those Worlds are completely different.

I have a problem with social views when it comes to real life. I hate making mistakes, getting lost, being late. I know there is a high chance of me doing that in general, so I go with friends in order to be held back. If I was on my own in Japan for the first time, I would flip. I am very lucky the guys family cares a lot for me.

You know thats only a mental thing right? Just like Smoking.. everybody can get rid of it, if you are strong enough mentally.

Just jump into the Water already and don't let yourself get Baby-sitter throughout your life. I mean your 20 after all!

You must visit a country which isn't as developed as Japan or the USA. That will help you the most.

I've never ever claimed any Asian society= Western society loool! Heck African society are COMPLETELY different society with different people! So is the Arab World, and the Latin Americans....There are A BUNCH of people from those sections of the world that are wonderful people, just as they are some that are horrible ones.

Your argument that Japanese society is different than ours is absolute BS...we all know that's the truth and no one claimed otherwise. While knowing that it's a different society you shouldn't judge them based on YOUR western values and ideas..you should be going there with an open mind. Not some ridiculous fantasies about Japanese women submitting to you and stroking your ego...
